This months Papergang subscription box helps support a wonderful cause, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. This was great as it meant the whole box was Bumblebee themed which I could definitely get on board with.
It’s been a crazy couple of months for me and with wedding planning started to get into full swing I thought it might be time to really start trying to look after my skin. I already have a great skincare routine I love, but I wanted to try a few of the things I’d been putting off and one of these was trying out a face mask for the first time. I know, I know, that’s crazy… but for some reason I had it in my head that using face masks would bring me out in spots. In all fairness this isn’t 100% untrue.
We’ve all got dreams and goals and the only way to achieve them is to work hard and put in the effort. If I’m completely honest, this blog has taken up so much more of my free time than I think I could ever have imagined beforehand but I don’t regret it. If I didn’t love it I’d have quit a long time ago and 1 year on I’m feeling pretty happy about the progression I’ve made and how I have managed to streamline my content creation (to a certain extent). I guess I just want to say how proud I am of this blog and can’t wait to see where the future takes it.
A couple of weeks ago I was invited by the lovely Katie of Katie Kirk Loves to attend an event at Bluebelle & Co in Brighton where we would had free reign of the shop after hours and plenty of opportunity to look at all the different bits and bobs they have in store. It was a bit of a drizzly day but Lauren was so welcoming and had put out lots of lovely snacks and drinks whilst we all wandered about.
A couple of weeks ago I went to a brush lettering workshop at One Girl Band, run by the lovely Lola Hoad of Lola Hoad Design. I heard about the course after I saw Lola speak at a Benefit Cosmetics Blogger Event I went to and I just couldn’t wait to sign up!
If you haven’t guessed yet… it’s begun. Wedding planning is on full go and I am loving it. I love to plan stuff anyway and this is kind of the ultimate occasion you can do this for. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have no intention of going Bridezilla but I’m probably not going to be a Bridechilla either (however much I’d like to be).
Get ready for another Papergang review!!! You know I love this subscription box, I rave about it enough. I try not to write about it every month… but this one was such a goodie it needs a mention! The may box was in collaboration with Arden Rose whose book Almost Adulting is currently sitting on my amazon wishlist. Her Instagram is a dream so I just knew the picks for this months box would be too!
