I’ve become obsessed with many things since getting engaged earlier this year, but I never expected my skin to be such a big one. Flowers, pastels and getting those little details just right were expected but I didn’t think I’d fall down a black hole of skincare products and regimes.
I’ve been on a bit of a mission really to discover what type of skin I have and the best products to suit it, so when Juliette Armand got in touch about reviewing some of their products I obviously jumped at the chance. They’re also in the process of a complete revamp of their packaging, with a clean, professional look that I’ve included an image of below. This feels like such an improvement, modernising the brand and showing off the quality of the products so much better.

A few months ago I won a twitter competition for some free Soap & Glory goodies which I was very excited to receive in the post. Clean on Me was already a firm favourite of mine, having received it many a Christmas and I love the creamy texture and subtle scents. I also find these bottles last for absolutely ages which is always a massive bonus.

It’s been a crazy couple of months for me and with wedding planning started to get into full swing I thought it might be time to really start trying to look after my skin. I already have a great skincare routine I love, but I wanted to try a few of the things I’d been putting off and one of these was trying out a face mask for the first time. Today’s post is basically just me raving about how much I love the Zoella Hungry Hands hand cream. The minute I saw Zoella had released a GINGERBREAD scented hand cream I just knew this would be a festive must. Gingerbread has got to be one of my absolute favourite things about this time of year and the idea of having my hands smell of it was too much to resist.

A couple if months back I was given a tube of Dr.PAWPAW, a multipurpose soothing balm that can be used for lips, skin, hair and beauty finishing, cuticles and nails. A 25ml tube retails at £6.95 and is made in the UK from a mixture of natural ingredients including (obviously) paw paw. It promises a lot and I was a little skeptial at first, but as I’m always trying to decrease the amount of stuff I carry around in my handbag, I thought I’d give it a go.

One of the biggest changes I’ve made to my life in the last year is starting a proper skincare routine. I’ve never had awful skin but since I started caring for my skin properly it just feels so much healthier and when I do get a spot it disappears so much quicker. Today, I’ve written a little post about my skincare routine and some of my favourite products.
