Getting Christmas Party Ready with QUIZ Clothing

It’s November and to say I’m super excited about Christmas would be quite the understatement. I love Christmas for so many reasons… the decorations, the food, the gift wrap… and of course it’s the perfect excuse to get a little dressed up! There’s nothing quite like making that extra special effort at Christmastime, getting a bit glammed up and really bringing that Christmas cheer. Seeing as I’m in such a Christmassy spirit, I thought it would be fun to do a little post with a few different outfits I plan to wear over the festive season.

QUIZ Clothing have got the most gorgeous selection of Party Dresses this year and I have fallen head-over-heels in love with the new edit, made in collaboration with Gabby Allen. Velvet has been such a massive trend this year, so my first choice had to be a slinky, body-hugging dress in a deep bottle green. When it turned up, it was even more stunning that expected – absolutely perfect for a night out with the girls, a Christmas date or for turning heads at the Christmas party. What I really love about this dress is how comfy it is to wear whilst having a really luxurious, Christmas vibe without being too over the top. The colour really catches and changes in different lights and best of all I felt really confident wearing it. I chose to add some sparkle with a gold glitter clutch I’ve had since last Christmas but you could wear this so many ways.

My next choice was full on sparkle, as anyone that knows me will tell you I just can’t resist it at this time of year. I’m thinking that this one in particular would be the perfect New Years dress, with the beautiful gold sequin pattern making sure you really stand out and wow! The dress itself is also really flattering and I love the long sleeves for giving you that extra bit of warmth for really chilly nights. It’s just so perfect for Christmas Party season and at only £44.99 is such a steal for the level of impact it creates. I paired mine with a simple black clutch and made sure to check my ear muffs matched – just in case. Wouldn’t want my ears to get cold now would we?

I also picked up the most beautiful embroidered t-shirt with a rose design. The details of this really pop in real life and I can see myself wearing this loads over the coming months. I’ve styled it pretty casually here, but you could definitely pair this with some smart shorts/trousers and killer heels for a more out-out look. It’s also super long, which I really like as you can tuck it in to jeans easily and gives it lots of flexibility for lots of different looks. I really love anything that can easily transition from day to night too, so this was a real winner.

It’s been great fun getting together some of my Christmas party looks so early this year, makes me feel that bit more prepared rather than the usual scramble for an outfit. Looking again, I’ve even spied a few more items from the Gabby x QUIZ collection that I have my eye on…

Hope you enjoyed my first outfit post – what’s not to love when the clothing is this cute? Let me know what you’ll be wearing to your Christmas party this year!

  1. I have to admit I don’t often think of QUIZ when I’m clothes shopping as I always worry it’s a bit too ‘young’ (I.e tight and short, because I don’t really believe in dressing for your age!) but that velvet dress is lovely! X

    1. The velvet dress is sooo nice and really flattering! I wouldn’t always think of them first either, but going forward I’m definitely paying more attention! x
